Pennsylvania-made wood-fired Stoneware. Wild Clays, glazes and slips. Shapes are a fusion of East-Asian and American Southern Traditions, with meditative, spiritual, and improvisational over-tones.
 

Hand made and/or wheel thrown functional art pottery. All food safe and lead free. Bird houses & feeders, plates, platters, bowls, mugs, cups, and more. 

Hand thrown redware/swirlware pots, vessels, facejugs, and some slab constructed platters & plates. Decoration techniques include sgraffito, slip, and applied.

Drawings

Pencil or colored pencil drawings. Some of the drawings are one-liners: a single line composes the outline of the subject, does not cross over itself, and comes back to the original starting point.

Fiber

One-of-a-kind hand dyed clothing for women and children.

Versatile and soft hand-crafted bowls. Each bowl is stacked row by row and sewn into place using a variety of colored yarns, strings, and fabrics. Works generally made with a sisal rope interior; a natural fiber derived from the agave plant.

Original designs of children's clothing, toy, and gift items. Focus on vintage inspired fabric and design. Function AND beauty go hand in hand.

Create your own one-of-kind hand marbled scarf. Participants can create  their own 15" x 72" scarf using a 15th century ebur/Turkish marbling technique. Check out our product line of silk scarves.

Each handbag is individually composed, numbered, and signed by the artist. The bags are sturdy, stand alone construction, using an array of tapestry, brocade, and upholstery fabrics combined to be a piece of wearable art. Include inside zipper pockets and magnetic clasps.

Antler, stone, and wood turnings.

Antique post office box door banks feature authentic doors used in the postal service. Each door is mounted in a dovetailed bank made from either domestic or exotic wood. Available in a combination or key lock.

Oils/Acrylics

Experimental layers of acrylic paint are applied to canvas, linen, hardboard, treated paper, or synthetic paper. A variety of tools and textures are employed resulting is a blend of realism and mystery.

Acrylics & oils used to create traditional to contemporary art pieces using unique techniques to provide a unique flare.

Work in oils & acrylic, using brushes or palette knife on canvas or wood panel. Subjects are representational to realistic, still life, landscape, and portrait.

Photography

Original Digital Photography. Worldwide travel and cultural images capturing landscapes, wildlife, and still life. Matted prints, framed prints, and greeting cards printed, matted, framed, signed, and numbered by the artist.

Original film and digital images on museum grade canvas and fine art papers; all printing done by the artist.

Fine art images in black & white and color, printed on archival paper and canvas using pigment inks.

Approach is both representational and interpretive. Images originate on film. Creative special effects involve multiple exposures on one frame of film, no further manipulation is done once images are captured on film, except for minor color or contrast adjustments.

Digital and film images printed on a variety of specialty mediums including wood, acrylic, and textured watercolor papers.

Alphabet photography. Pictures of things in nature and architecture that look like letters framed to spell words and names.

Natural water reflections photography. Some pieces on a rotatable frame system.

Images of natural beauty captured digitally in camera RAW format and processed using "digital darkroom" techniques. Each image is printed by the artist using archival quality papers and pigment inks. Prints are matted and framed using archival quality matting and backing.

Contemporary fine art portraits which capture the inner beauty and connection between the people and animals photographed.  Images are printed on fine art water color paper and framed in house.  

Pottery

Redware and stoneware glazed clay. All works are handmade by the artist using a variety of tools to make/manipulate wheel thrown, and hand built pieces.

Sculpture

Laminated re-purposed granite sculpted into interpretative abstract and functional forms. Shaped with hand held power tools and wet saws.

Reclaimed metal used to create whimsical sculpture for the garden and home.

Watercolor sculpted flowers are made from hand-painted watercolor paper, then sculpted using proprietary patterns, and techniques. Sheet music flowers are made from altered sheet music with the title visible on a petal. Boxes are hand-folded paper similar to origami.

Watercolors

Hand drawn, transparent watercolor painted in a series of washes to build color, creating shadows, and a strong use of light.

Realistic watercolors with a graphic undertone achieved by using masking fluid as a blocking agent.

Woodcarving

Each piece is hand carved and hand painted. Simplistic hand tools are used to carve creations inspired by the wood itself.

Hand turned exotic wooden pens and gift items.

An optical illusion of a 3 dimensional wood statue using a 2 dimensional form on a 3 dimensional platform. Cross-stitch quilts designed and crafted by hand. Hand-crafted designer clothes.
