WEST READING'S 20TH ANNUAL ART ON THE
AVENUE
SATURDAY, JUNE 21, 2014 11AM-6PM (RAIN OR SHINE)
The 20th Annual Art on the Avenue, is a juried
fine arts and crafts festival featuring national and regional
artists showing and selling their creations on Penn Avenue in
West Reading, Pennsylvania. Each year thousands of people are
drawn to Art on the Avenue as the event continues to grow.
Located in the Greater Reading hub for arts, culture, shopping
and dining, this event appeals to both novice buyers and
experienced art patrons. Additionally the venue
features live music, street performers, local businesses and
specialty foods.
2014 TIMELINE
February 10,
2014 - Target date for ZAPPlication artist application to
post online.
April 13, 2014
-
Final application deadline. 5 photographs of recent work plus
one of booth shot to accompany application. Special booth
location requests are due at this time.
April 14,
2014-April 20, 2014 - Applications reviewed by jurors.
April 21,
2014 -
Applications posted upon acceptance or non-acceptance.
April 25, 2014 - West Reading Merchant Applications due.
May 2,
2014 - Acceptance confirmation and booth fee due. If paying
by check, checks must be received by the West Reading Community
Revitalization Foundation by this date.
June 6, 2014 - Booth location assignments, set-up, and
tear-down instructions will be published. |
